From our Pastor and his family, as well as our larger church family, thank you for taking the time to view our site.
We always appreciate the chance to tell others about our church, and, more importantly, about our wonderful Savior Jesus Christ. We hope the description of our church, it’s ministries, and facilities is helpful, but of course, our church is much more than this site and the amenities offered. We believe God has blessed McCoy with the wonderful group of people brought together from various age ranges, backgrounds, personalities, and spiritual maturity (level of spiritual growth). Nevertheless, united together in Jesus Christ. We strive to maintain an environment where all feel welcomed, yet also challenged to reach new heights in their relationship with God.
So, whether you are passing through Southern California or are looking for a church to call home in the Los Angeles area, please come and visit us. If you have any questions about our church, the Bible, or Christianity, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to help you in any way that we can and God allows.
About Us
The McCoy Memorial Baptist Church has served the Los Angeles community since its birth in 1935. The McCoy Church Family has had only three Shepherds: Rev. J. A. H. Eldridge; Dr. E.A. Anderson, and our current Pastor, Dr. R.A. Williams, Jr. Since its inception, the McCoy Memorial Baptist Church has strived to serve the Los Angeles community, spreading the good news through song, preaching, and teaching. Our current shepherd, Dr. Robert Williams, Jr. is a world renowned preacher and teacher, and has spoken at numerous venues, from the National Baptist Convention to the Keswick Conference in England. He also co-founded and is the current President of WHW Ministries, which hosts its annual “The Methods of Expository Preaching and Teaching” Conference each October. The Conference has thrived over the past twenty years, growing from a core group of 30 ministers to over 1200 participants and students.

Children’s Church is held every Sunday except the 1st Sunday of the month during normal service hours; 9AM – 10:30AM for children ages 6 – 13, though all are welcome.
The Children’s Ministry is run by bro. Irving Suero.

Every Sunday @ 9:15 AM. Pastor Williams will be teaching the entire Sunday School!
The Children’s Church is now in session for children ages 6 -13 years old.
The classroom is located downstairs in the E. A. Anderson Fellowship Hall. Bro. Irving Suero is the Director.
The multi-media team is looking for energetic individuals to help promote and sell CDs’, tapes and books.
We are also seeking individuals that are interested in learning and helping operate all video/audio equipment.

To all former choir members as well as other members who are interested in singing for the Lord, the McCoy Mass Choir cordially invite you to join us as we give leadership in praise, worship and singing to and for the Lord.
We are encouraging you and praying that God would increase our choir membership through former and present membership participation.
Dear members, guests and visitors, you are welcomed and encouraged to bring your young children and infants to the Nursery during Worship Service. All Nursery services are free.
